Our Team
Susan Hagen, Owner
When she formed Your Business Accountant she wanted something different than just completing and taxes. Business owners many times start their company because of skill and passion. Accounting is not what comes naturally many times or how to create profitability when management operations. That's where the idea sparked to partner with business owners to help them become successful and last through the ages. That's what we hear over and over that we are different and care about the success of our client's businesses.
Susan holds a bachelor’s degree in business and a master’s certification in project management and a master’s studies in accounting and psychology.
Susan is an accomplished business professional and training professional and has worked in many of the fortune 500 companies including Bosch, Boeing, and Compaq. She has worked in Accounting, Human Resources, Project Management, and Business Management. She owned and operated several companies including construction, retail, and travel industries.
During her employment, she was a major organizer in many non-profit programs including Red Cross Disaster preparedness, School Reading programs, and Christmas with the Panthers which is a program helping underprivileged children experience and wealth of Christmas miracles.
She is an Advanced Certified Management Accountant, Advanced Certified in QuickBooks Online, Profit First, Value Builder, and an EA.
Carrie Silva, Head Bookkeeper
Carrie is passionate about our customers and gives them 110%. She has over 20 years experience in accounting and has worked in several industries including construction.
